Sony's backward-compatibility guidance covers supported PS4 discs and exceptions. Its disc-upgrade instructions say to keep the PS4 disc inserted even after downloading the PS5 version. Such upgrades are game-specific and also require the disc's country/region to match the account. Do not sell or give away that disc on the assumption that an upgrade made it unnecessary.

Route A's $600 headline is not the budget for the requested setup; its three item amounts add to $720. Route B still needs a stand. Route C already contains all three. 1. Write the target setup

   Record the console's full model label, intended market, condition and package. Add a disc drive only if the planned games need it, and a vertical stand if the console will stand upright.

2. Check the actual contents

   Confirm controller count, cables, feet and any drive, stand, game or other extra. Specify each extra's model or game edition and format. For an opened package, confirm unused codes and missing parts with the seller.

3. Verify the purchase conditions

   Record the seller, available stock, full item price, currency, tax basis and any membership, coupon, finance or trade-in requirement. Check who handles service in your intended market. Record shipping as free, + amount shipping, or unknown/may be added.

4. Compare one exact package
