Compatibility first
A spare Submarine head is not a V15 wet upgrade.
Dyson's spare-head page names part 973149-03 as compatible only with V15s Detect Submarine and explicitly excludes ordinary V15 Detect. The manufacturer FAQ also explains that the wet-cleaning software differs. Do not buy the dry vacuum on the assumption that this spare head will add supported washing later.
- A head-only listing looks cheaper. It excludes the complete vacuum. Keep spare parts out of complete-pack price comparisons.
- A short title says only "V15 Submarine". Require the full retail code, EAN and written included-head list. An ambiguous title stays unresolved.
- A review shows three heads. It establishes the reviewed box, not a different retail code. If Fluffy Optic matters, verify that it is included in the actual offer.
- A catalogue page still exists. Existence does not prove current stock. SME's older three-head pack is unavailable online in the inspected listing; do not treat it as a buyable deal.

Can I add a Submarine head to an ordinary V15 Detect?
