• Write the exact item. Keep the model number, memory or size, colour, pack quantity and required accessories. A similar name is not enough.
• Save a dated reference. Record the seller URL, item price, stock and purchase conditions you actually saw. One observation is a reference point, not a 30-day price history.
• Set your need and budget. Decide when the item must arrive and what you can spend. Include room for known charges in your budget, but keep the item-price comparison separate.
• Save a shareable worksheet. Use the two-offer calculator to keep the same-product checks together. It uses your entries; it does not fetch or verify retailer prices.

1. Match the product and package.

   Confirm manufacturer model, size or capacity, colour, quantity and included accessories. Keep a board separate from a kit, and new stock separate from refurbished stock.

2. Check stock and seller.

   Identify who sells the item, whether the exact variant can be ordered and what delivery estimate is offered. A marketplace name alone does not identify its third-party seller.

3. Match price eligibility.

   Use the same currency and tax basis. Record any paid membership, account requirement, coupon condition or minimum quantity. A monthly payment is not the outright item price.

4. Compare the normalized item prices.

   For genuinely equivalent offers, divide a multi-pack item price by its confirmed quantity where appropriate. Do not compare a single unit with the whole pack or substitute a financing instalment.

5. Record shipping separately.

   Mark free, a verified amount for the relevant delivery scope, or unknown. Unknown shipping is never zero. It does not change the item-price order.

6. Confirm the checkout and save the evidence.

   Read warranty provider, returns, applicable charges and the final amount for your address. Save the offer and order confirmation if you buy. Do not call a checkout total verified before its components are known.

A is ₪20 lower on item price. Shipping stays a separate field, and B’s unknown shipping prevents a claimed delivered total for B. This is not a claim that A is the cheapest delivered purchase or a real ShoppingIL deal. Try your own verified inputs in the calculator.

• A crossed-out price without context. Ask what the reference price represents. A discount percentage by itself does not establish a saving against another seller or against a documented earlier price.
• A cheaper-looking different version. Memory, colour, regional model, accessories, condition and quantity can change the purchase. Resolve those differences first.
• A condition buried below the price. Membership, coupon eligibility, instalments, Eilat-only pricing or a different tax basis can explain a low number. Do not carry it into an ordinary like-for-like comparison without the same conditions.
• A delivery or warranty assumption. Check the delivery scope and the named warranty provider. Do not infer importer identity from a shop’s warranty wording, or a delivery date from an in-stock label.
