LEGO 10329 and Sony XM5:
eight US and UK listing checks.
The LEGO 10329 set had different displayed prices on the two US pages and equal displayed prices on the two UK pages. Our eight-listing check also found an unavailable Sony headphone offer, monthly-payment amounts and delivery thresholds. Here are the dated observations and the purchase conditions still needed before recommending a deal.

In short
For LEGO 10329, the US pages displayed USD 49.99 at LEGO and USD 39.99 at Target. In the UK, LEGO and John Lewis both displayed GBP 44.99. These are dated observations, not a ranking or a promise of current availability.
The US Walmart headphone page displayed USD 298 but explicitly said it was out of stock. The Currys and Argos pages showed financing beside the full item price. Neither an unavailable amount nor a monthly payment establishes a purchasable lower-price offer.
We chose the four product-country pairs before inspecting their offers. A separate UK LEGO follow-up resolves seller, tax and published delivery details, while retaining condition and address limits. Neither sample is representative of a market.

Observed, not ranked
What the eight pages displayed
The original eight observations were made on September 13, 2026, from 12:35 to 13:31 UTC. Each row has its narrower observation window in the download. US amounts are USD; UK amounts are GBP. We do not compare across currencies. Prices can change after the observation. A separately dated UK LEGO follow-up appears below; this original table and dataset retain the earlier evidence.
| Market and listing | Displayed item price | Shipping evidence | What remains unresolved |
|---|---|---|---|
| US · LEGO 10329 | USD 49.99 | Free above USD 35 advertised, with exclusions unresolved | Available now; item condition, tax basis and destination eligibility not independently established. |
| US · Target LEGO 10329 | USD 39.99 | Free shipping shown for the page’s default ZIP 85105, subject to exclusions | Shipping timing shown; seller, condition, tax and eligibility checks incomplete. |
| US · Best Buy Sony WH1000XM5/B, black | USD 298 | Arrival shown; shipping charge unknown | Best Buy named as seller; default-store pickup shown. Condition, tax and destination checks incomplete. |
| US · Walmart Sony WH-1000XM5/BM, black | USD 298 | Shipping out of stock | Explicitly unavailable. BM suffix and package equivalence to the Best Buy offer not established. |
| UK · LEGO 10329 | GBP 44.99 | Free above GBP 50 advertised; one set is below the threshold. Charge unknown. | Available now; condition, tax basis and destination eligibility not independently established. |
| UK · John Lewis LEGO 10329 | GBP 44.99 | Standard delivery GBP 4.50; free above GBP 50. Collection is a separate option. | Purchase control and collection timing shown; condition, tax and destination checks incomplete. |
| UK · Currys Sony WH-1000XM5, black | GBP 229 | Free standard delivery above GBP 40 advertised; destination eligibility unknown | Postcode availability not checked; seller, condition, tax and eligibility checks incomplete. |
| UK · Argos Sony WH1000XM5B.CE7, black | GBP 229.99 | Header: small-item delivery GBP 4.95, free above GBP 100; product eligibility unresolved | Postcode stock check required. Condition, tax and offer eligibility not fully established. |
In the original observations, the two UK LEGO pages displayed the same item amount. Their delivery information differed in how much we could verify from the page. The follow-up below resolves more of those details. Shipping is recorded separately and does not resolve or reverse an item-price comparison. The US LEGO amounts differ, but missing mandatory checks prevent a verified-saving claim.
Follow-up · September 13, 14:41–14:49 UTC
UK LEGO 10329: equal displayed item prices, clearer terms
At 14:41 UTC, before re-reading either offer, we fixed a follow-up on the same two UK retailers and one LEGO Tiny Plants 10329 set. Both still displayed GBP 44.99 for one 758-piece set. Their retailer policies establish a UK-tax-inclusive price basis. The table below adds later evidence; it does not replace the eight earlier observations.
The LEGO shop terms identify LEGO System A/S as seller. John Lewis’s purchase terms identify John Lewis plc. LEGO’s displayed amount was separate from optional Insiders points; neither primary amount carried a membership, coupon, trade-in or instalment qualifier in the inspected offer. No account or rewards were used.
| Check | LEGO UK | John Lewis UK |
|---|---|---|
| Item amount and tax | GBP 44.99; shop terms explicitly include applicable taxes. | GBP 44.99; pricing policy explicitly includes UK VAT. |
| Condition evidence | Embedded Product/Offer metadata explicitly declares NewCondition. This is the retailer’s statement, not a physical inspection. | No explicit new-condition statement found in the inspected product copy, terms or Product/Offer metadata. Condition remains unverified. |
| Availability evidence | Product page says available now; metadata agrees. One set is within the stated limit of five per household. | Product page says currently in stock online; metadata agrees. Chosen-address delivery is confirmed at checkout. |
| Standard delivery, recorded separately | Published UK tariff: + GBP 3.95 for this order below GBP 50; free from GBP 50 in qualifying merchandise. Address exclusions apply. | Product page: + GBP 4.50, normally 2–5 days; free above GBP 50. Separate collection options have different thresholds. |
| Remaining check | No address-level checkout or fulfillment test. UK service excludes certain addresses and territories. | Explicit new condition and final address acceptance remain unresolved. No checkout or fulfillment test. |
The displayed item amounts match. The delivery tariffs differ by GBP 0.55, but that is a shipping difference, not an item-price saving. Because condition and address checks remain incomplete, we do not call this a fully verified eligible-offer tie, rank a winner or publish a checkout total.
The protocol allowed a public illustrative postcode if needed; none was entered. John Lewis’s restrictions put final address confirmation at checkout. We inspected the same product documents’ embedded structured data and labelled it as metadata. No basket change, account, order, payment or personal address was used.
Download the two follow-up rows as CSV, or download the follow-up protocol and evidence as JSON. The original eight-row files remain unchanged.
How we selected and checked
A small, declared sample with its failures retained
At 12:34 UTC, before opening the target offers, we declared two product categories, two countries and two retailers per product-country pair: Best Buy/Walmart and LEGO/Target in the US; Currys/Argos and LEGO/John Lewis in the UK. The choice was practical and purposive. It does not estimate retailer coverage, average savings or nationwide prices.
Search was used to discover product URLs, not to establish current prices. We inspected selected variants and public product details in a browser. We entered no personal location, signed in to no retailer and made no purchase. Default locations are recorded as defaults, not as our location or the reader’s.
- Identity before arithmetic. We recorded model numbers, selected colour and package details. LEGO’s nine assembled plant models belong to one 758-piece retail set; they are not nine separately priced sets. The Walmart BM headphone suffix remains unresolved.
- Separate fields. Each row records identity, variant, price, currency, seller, condition, stock, tax basis, membership, purchase model and shipping. An absent field stays unknown. Purchase controls alone do not prove stock for a destination.
- Keep failed checks. Walmart remained in the sample after its page reported no stock. The sample was not replaced with better-looking results. Delivery controls at several stores did not expose readable terms in this session; those gaps remain in the rows.
- No winner without the required checks. None of the four original pairs had every mandatory comparison gate independently established. The later UK LEGO check reduces specific gaps but still does not establish a fully verified eligible-offer tie or winner.
What to watch for
Four checks worth making before holiday promotions
These examples come from the inspected pages. They identify questions to resolve on an offer; they do not establish how common a practice is.
- Monthly amounts beside the full price. Currys showed a full GBP 229 amount beside 36 payments of GBP 9.28. Argos showed GBP 229.99 beside financing from GBP 9.23 per month. Counter-move: record the outright full item amount; do not use the monthly amount as the item price.
- A price beside an unavailable offer. The selected Walmart page still displayed USD 298 after stating the item was out of stock. Counter-move: require a currently available offer in your market before a price can win.
- A free-delivery threshold above the item price. The GBP 44.99 LEGO set did not meet the advertised GBP 50 delivery threshold at either UK store. John Lewis also listed separate collection options. Counter-move: record the charge for the method and destination you will use; unknown shipping is not free.
- Similar names, different evidence. The headphone pages used B, BM and B.CE7 suffixes. The LEGO pages used both Icons and Botanicals branding but shared set number 10329. Counter-move: compare exact identifiers, contents, condition and warranty; do not decide equivalence from a short name alone.

Download the rows and repeat the checks
Download the eight observation rows as CSV, or download the method and observations as JSON. Both preserve source URLs, observation windows, unavailable offers and unresolved fields.

For your own purchase, use the free item-price comparison worksheet. It calculates from the inputs and confirmations you supply; it does not fetch or independently verify retailer offers.
Before you buy
Make your own comparison complete
Repeat these steps against the live product pages. The time estimate is for entering and checking two straightforward offers; unresolved retailer conditions can take longer.
Fix the target
Record the model, colour, size or capacity, condition and package contents before searching.
Identify the offer
Record the actual seller and check stock for your destination. Distinguish outright purchase from financing, trade-in, rental or subscription.
Check eligibility and tax
Establish a matching tax basis, mandatory item fees, membership and coupon conditions. Leave a check unresolved if the page does not establish it.
Compare verified item amounts
Divide each eligible full item price by the count of identical retail units. Rank only after the mandatory checks pass; do not compare across currencies.
Keep shipping and evidence visible
Record shipping as free, a stated charge or unknown. Save the URL and date, then recheck the retailer’s final offer before paying.

Questions and answers
Fair questions,
plain answers.
What did the September 13, 2026 comparison find?
The original eight snapshots showed different item amounts, matching item amounts and an unavailable offer, with incomplete purchase checks in all four pairs. A later UK LEGO check established seller identities, tax basis and published delivery rates, while retaining explicit condition and address limits. No fully verified winning deal is claimed.
Was LEGO 10329 the same set on all four pages?
All four LEGO pages identified set 10329 with 758 pieces. Nine plant models are built from one retail set. Seller, condition, tax, eligibility and availability still require separate checks before comparing purchasable offers.
Does the Walmart price prove the headphones can be bought for USD 298?
No. The inspected Walmart page displayed that amount but explicitly reported out of stock. The BM suffix and package equivalence were also unresolved. A visible amount is not a current available offer.
Does equal item pricing mean equal checkout totals?
No. The later UK LEGO check confirmed equal displayed item prices of GBP 44.99 on a UK-tax-inclusive basis, with published standard delivery of GBP 3.95 at LEGO and GBP 4.50 at John Lewis. Address acceptance and other conditions remain relevant. Shipping stays separate; we make no checkout-total claim.
Are these Black Friday deals or price-history results?
No. These are individual observations on September 13, 2026. They do not establish earlier prices, continuous history, a holiday discount or the best time to buy.
Did Muchita’s extension produce these results?
No. This was a manual browser inspection of retailer pages. It is not a benchmark of Muchita’s accuracy, speed, coverage or savings.
Can I reuse the dataset?
You may reuse the factual rows with their dates, source URLs and limitations, citing Muchita AI and this field note. Retailer text, branding and images are outside that statement. Keep unavailable offers and unknown fields visible.
