Muchita checks other stores for the same model, variant and condition, then shows the lowest price it could verify, or tells you there isn't one.

How it works
Muchita does the comparison work in your browser so you can see what it checked and decide what to do next.
Click Muchita on any product page. That one click starts the check.
Same model, variant and condition. A different colour, package or condition does not match the product you selected.
Search and discovery stay in your tab. Muchita opens other stores in a tab group you can watch, and closes them when it is done.
Read on the store page. Prices come from the offer page itself, not from search snippets.
See the match, item price, shipping disclosure, and source before opening a deal.
Honest about gaps. It says what it could not verify, and "no better price" is a real answer. Item price first. Offers rank by item price. Shipping is shown separately, never guessed.
Why I built this
My daughter was due in a few weeks and I had a long list of things to buy. Checking one item properly - same model, right variant, new not used, shipping checked - took me about twenty minutes of opening tabs and squinting at listings.
It won't always find you something cheaper. That's a real answer too - and it's the one I wanted most, because it's what lets you stop looking.
And nobody pays me to show you this. Muchita doesn't make money right now - there's no revenue model yet, and I'd rather tell you that than invent one. It's free because it's cheap to run: the comparison happens in your browser, driven by purpose-built rules rather than a paid AI model called on every search. If that ever changes, it will be on this page before it ships, and it will never decide which offer wins.

Price comparison extension FAQ
No. Muchita does not add, replace or modify affiliate links, does not set affiliate cookies, and does not change checkout. No retailer pays for placement, and the ranking never changes based on who we have a relationship with, because we have none. Since June 2025 Chrome's own extension policy requires affiliate behaviour to be disclosed on the store listing, so this is a claim you can check rather than take on trust.
Honey offers coupons, rewards and price comparisons across supported stores. Its Deal Comparison weighs seller prices, possible coupon discounts and PayPal Rewards. Muchita focuses on checking matching offers and ranking verified item prices, with shipping disclosed separately and no affiliate commissions. Read the sourced comparison.
Muchita is free and there is no paid tier. It does not make money right now: there is no revenue model yet, and I would rather tell you that than invent one. It is cheap to run because the work happens on your device - there is no paid AI service billed on every search. If that ever changes it will be on this page before it ships, and it will never decide which offer wins.
Muchita detects products locally in your browser. Research starts only when you request it. A check sends product queries and, when visual search is used, product images to search providers, and requests retailer pages from your browser. Settings, saved lists and recorded price history stay on your device. If you use Muchita's hosted assistant connection, the chosen product, optional country and result also pass through Muchita's hosted service. Optional usage analytics requires consent; submitted feedback can send the details described in our privacy policy.
Duration varies by retailer and product. Muchita opens the offers it checks, so a check can take several minutes. A blocked or unavailable page may leave an offer unverified. Follow the visible progress and read the final result before buying.
It depends on the product and the market. A price check can use Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, comparison sites, marketplaces and retailers. Results cover only the offers checked during that run and are not a promise that every seller was found. A product can also change or disappear after a price check.
Muchita's price checks use purpose-built rules, not a language model. It checks product identifiers, colour, size, capacity, bundle and condition, and rejects conflicting or uncertain matches. I used AI to develop and test those rules. If you use Muchita's hosted assistant connection, Muchita's hosted MCP service temporarily receives your chosen product, optional shopping country and check result, then returns the result to that assistant. Your conversation stays with your assistant provider. Hosted requests and results are deleted within one hour.
Not today. If it ever does, it will only show codes verified to work for that product at that retailer, rather than a long list of expired ones for you to paste in yourself. A code that does not work is worse than no code, because it costs you time and makes you doubt the rest of the result.
When you start a price check, search and discovery stay in the product tab. Muchita checks candidate offer pages in parallel in temporary tabs inside that product's tab group; you can see or open them, and they close when the check ends. Pages needing attention may be retried in the visible tab. Only offers that pass identity, variant, condition, availability, currency and price checks are compared. Muchita ranks by verified item price and shows shipping separately.
Yes. Offers are converted into a single currency so a price from another country is comparable rather than confusing, and you pick which currency in Settings. By default Muchita follows the market you are shopping in and falls back to your local currency. Currency is also one of the checks an offer has to pass before it can be compared at all.
The checked stores had no offer that passed the required product, variant, availability, condition, currency and price checks. Muchita will not turn an unknown or mismatched listing into a deal. It is a real answer, and often the one that lets you stop looking.
Choose Take over to continue, solve the challenge in the visible research tab, and return to Muchita. Muchita does not bypass or automatically solve provider security checks. If it cannot continue, try again later.
Add Muchita from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it from Chrome's Extensions menu so it is easy to open on a product page. Start a price check from a specific product page, not from a search or category listing.
Yes. Save any product or offer to a named list, add your own notes, and reorder them. Open Saved, choose a product and select Refresh prices, and Muchita opens its page in a visible tab and runs a fresh price check, keeping that product's price history on your device. It is a shopping list you can re-check on demand.
Not yet. Chrome is the only build today. The gap to a Firefox version is fairly small, so if enough people want one it will happen - say so and it moves up the list.
